Our new medium-sized value set: Five hand-prepared "SARI" hemp ropes in 5mm or 6mm thickness PLUS an optional safety knife!
For those of you who need more than the three ropes in our beginner's set, we have put together a set that contains everything you need for more complex ties: five high-quality hemp ropes and an optional safety knife for your safety kit, which even experts always carry with them.
Our new, high-quality hemp ropes are spun from extra-fine yarn and are exceptionally supple from the very first use, while also maintaining their shape and providing a very good grip. The fibers are gently cleaned and prepared early in the production process, eliminating the need for subsequent washing. This preserves the natural structure of the fibers and retains the natural oils and acids of the hemp plant within the rope. The triple-twisted rope offers outstanding strength while maintaining a smooth, natural feel. Sascha carefully breaks the raw ropes by hand, singes them, and treats them with organic jojoba oil*. The ropes are therefore ready to use and can be used immediately after unpacking. Due to the manufacturing and processing methods, our ropes are also suitable for vegans.
Our hemp ropes are a pure, 100% recyclable natural product made from renewable resources. Hemp is one of the strongest natural fibers. The ropes are made from high-quality natural hemp, produced in an environmentally friendly way in a traditional German rope factory without the addition of any chemicals. Hemp ropes are a particularly good alternative to the commonly used jute ropes, especially for people who suffer from grass allergies . However, hemp ropes have a certain characteristic odor, which can be quite strong at first. For some Shibaristas, this is precisely what they love about their ropes – for others, it's exactly what they dislike about hemp ropes.

Strictly speaking, jojoba oil isn't actually an oil, but a plant wax. However, since its melting point is 7°C, making it the only liquid wax found in nature, the term "oil" has become established. The advantage of this is that it has a shelf life of many years and doesn't go rancid as quickly as other oils. Due to its antioxidant properties, it not only slows down the aging of the skin, but also that of your rope. In addition to its nourishing properties, jojoba oil is also said to have healing effects.
The oil consists of up to:
- 70% from gadoleic acid
- 15% from erucic acid
- 10% oleic acid
- 2% from nervoic acid
- 1% palmitic acid
Jojoba oil also contains vitamins B and E, provitamin A, minerals, and simmondsin. The jojoba oil we use is cold-pressed and organically produced.
This makes it environmentally friendly AND good for your skin and ropes.
