And so it happens to beginners and advanced alike again and again that when tying up with the standardized lengths at the end there is still far too much rope left that then has to be "installed" more than badly - which neither looks nice nor feels good. Or that a whole rope is too long when it comes to lengthening the rope, or that a shorter rope would actually be needed for the hair rope or the bondage of the face... Experienced riggers therefore often have next to the long ropes a few shorter ropes that are adapted to the dimensions of your model and your own bondage style. To make tying easier for you right from the start, we have put together a rope set for you with 7 ropes (each 8 meters) are sufficient for complex jewelry ties and suspensions - and with a 4 meter and 6 meter rope each, gives you the freedom to tie intuitively and adapted to the model and situation, without having to worry about unattractively long rope ends .

The rope is made of high-quality Tossa jute, which has been cultivated in an environmentally friendly manner. Treated gently with beeswax, polished, flamed and refined with organic, cold-pressed jojoba oil*. The rope is free of JBO (Jute Batching Oil a petrolium-based, potentially carcinogenic substance) as soybean oil and tapioca are used in its manufacture. The rope is ready to tie and can be used for tying right out of the box.
Sascha: In Japan, the country of origin of Shibari, jute ropes are the classic ropes for sensual bondage. With good reason: you are light, resilient - and accordingly tied up - supple, ready to run and cuddly. Knots become with it compact and the golden brown color of the rope looks just beautiful on the body and in photos. Compared to hemp ropes, they are significantly less odorous. New ropes are a little stiffer and fluffy at first, but this quickly disappears after the first few ties. So that your rope lasts longer and remains supple, it is recommended to care for it with jojoba oil* from time to time. However, do not apply too much of it, otherwise the ropes can become "soapy" with body heat.
*Strictly speaking, jojoba oil is not an oil at all, but a vegetable wax. Since its melting point is 7°C making it the only liquid wax found in nature the term "oil" established itself. The advantage is that it has a long shelf life and does not go rancid as quickly as other oils. Due to its antioxidant properties, it not only delays the aging of the skin, but also that of yours rope. In addition to nurturing properties, jojoba oil is also said to have a healing effect.
The oil consists of up to:
- 70% from gadoleic acid
- 15% from erucic acid
- 10% from oleic acid
- 2% from nervous acid
- 1% from palmitic acid
Jojoba oil also contains vitamins B and E, provitamin A, minerals and simmondsin. The jojoba oil we use is cold-pressed and organically produced.
This makes it environmentally friendly AND good for your skin and your ropes.
